Riedli Chalet sits quietly on the hillside and the final 250 metres are accessible only on foot. Guests may drive to house number 49 to unload and use the handcart to reach chalet number 60, then park in private spaces 6 and 7 lower down the slope.
The chalet
Riedli is a tiny 26 m² retreat at the edge of the woods, with only a handful of neighbours in sight. Its small terrace is made for resting, dining and enjoying the setting.
There is no conventional heating. The small stove provides sufficient warmth, supported by underfloor heating in the bathroom. A fan heater is available for emergencies.
Sleeping & space
In the main lounge, the single bed converts easily into a 180 x 200 cm double bed. A second room has another bed for a third guest or possibly two small children.
Three more beds have been available in the low sleeping loft since August 2025. Up to six guests can stay, but the compact bathroom and single toilet should be considered at full occupancy.
Kitchen & bathroom
The small kitchen has two modern induction hobs, a compact refrigerator, cookware and tableware. There is no conventional cooker.
The compact bathroom is well finished with a Raindance shower, underfloor heating and toilet.
Hot tub & outdoors
The chalet has had a HotSpring TX outdoor hot tub since February 2020. At around 38 to 39°C it offers views into Kiental, subject to availability and correct use.
It can take up to 12 hours to return to 39°C. Please shower first, avoid swimwear washed with fabric softener and keep the water clean.
Access & parking
The final 250 metres are on foot. Drive to house number 49 to unload and use the handcart by the fence, then follow the path to the third chalet, number 60.
Parking is permitted only in private spaces 6 and 7. Parking by number 49 risks a fine or towing. Bring a torch when arriving after 18:00.
Pets & private use
Pets are welcome by arrangement, but are not allowed in the hot tub. A one-off CHF 80 pet fee applies.
The entire chalet and grounds are exclusively yours. It is ideal for two or three guests and can also suit hikers or families with children.
